I Think We Just Broke a Record! Great News!

In what must be a record for a restaurant changing hands, we are so pleased to announce that in less than two weeks after we made our announcement that we were leasing out the space due to our other committments taking us away from The Deli Diva, we have new tenants!

Kimperly Platt and her business partner Chris Carnes have leased the location and will be opening “Charlie Tulum’s Taco Shack” on October 1st. charlie tulus

They have the same philosophy about only the freshest foods, made fresh each day and Kimberly is a past customer of ours and she plans to keep feeding all the great customers who have supported the Deli Diva in the past as well as introducing many new customers to the fabulous foods she prepares.

Kim and Chris also have “Charlie Tulum’s dos Tacos Food Truck” which they will be operating at many events around town so be on the look out for their truck as well as coming out to support them when they open here.

We. once again, want to thank all of you for being so supportive of us all these years, and now you can treat yourself to the great taste of “Charlie Tulum’s” beginning October 1st!

Everyone is going to miss your fantastic deli sandwiches and soups. Nice you have someone coming in but Tacos? Gee

I know their name makes people think its just tacos, but both of them are excellent chefs and will have other items on the menu as well. Maybe I can talk them into a pastrami taco! LOL

    • Chef Anne says:

Thanks Barbara. They are both chefs and although they say tacos, they certainly won’t be your run of the mill. They have many varieties and also do lots of other foods too, so do give them a try when they open.
