TGIF! And Now for Something Completely Different!

I know it’s cold, but aren’t you glad we are getting a little winter? I know I am. But if you really don’t want to brave the weather and enjoy our patios, just come pick up your lunch, or, if you are in our delivery area, we’ll bring it to you!

I have two pieces of exciting news to share with you today…

First, let me tell you about what’s happening on Saturdays around here:

Looking for something different to do on a Saturday? How about combining lunch and a blacksmithing lesson? That’s right, The Deli Diva is now offering “Lunch & Learn”. Nowhere else in our area will you find such a unique experience.

Your day will begin at 11 am with a delicious lunch at The Deli Diva, followed by a one-hour class on the age-old art of direct metal work. Learn how metal, fire and hammer combine to create wrought iron sculptures, furniture, fences, decorative items and more, taught by our own Rob, aka “The Deli Dude”.

Tuition: $25 includes lunch: Turkey or Chicken Salad sandwiches served on a freshly baked French roll, along with a bag of chips, and a soda or spring water of your choice prepared by The Deli Diva.

Minimum of 4 people needed for a class. Reservations are required. For more information and available dates, call 727-389-8861 or email

Now for that second bit of news I told you I had, and it’s a big one…our son, Adrian Wyllie, is an official candidate for Governor of Florida 2014!

His campaign is in full swing and you can read all about him, his background and what he plans to do if elected, by going to his campaign website:
