Today’s soup is Cream of Mushroom and we have all of our great sandwiches to go with it.
If you haven’t tried our pastrami, you are missing out! We’ve had people who swear they hate pastrami try a taste, and now they can’t get enough of it!
Pastrami isn’t that rubbery, chewy cold cut version you find at the grocery store. REAL New York style pastrami is made from a beef brisket which goes through a corning process like for corned beef, then it is liberally rubbed with spices, smoked for hours and then kept in our steamers to stay melt-in-your-mouth tender as we hand slice it to order.
We make ours the same way Katz and Carnegie delis in New York have been making theirs since the 1800’s.
Stop in and ask for a sample taste….you’ll be glad you did! 🙂
