Monday 12/12 @ The Deli Diva

We had a great weekend and hope you did too! If you haven’t been over to the new Barley Mow, do it! Jay and Colleen, the owners are so nice and the place has a very European tavern feel to it. The beers are fab! We were there Friday night catering their happy hour with some of our sandwiches.

Then we popped in O’Shy’s Tap House to check in on Jennifer and Ed and ran into several neighbors having a great time. O’Shy’s has quickly become the neighborhood place, “where everybody knows your name”. If you don’t know it, you can thank Jennifer for all those wonderful First Friday events. She works tirelessly to produce them for you to enjoy.

Saturday evening we went with other family members to walk through Largo Central Park. The lights are amazing. The park was packed. There was a DJ spinning records and so many families and children were out enjoying themselves. You have to take a walk one of these evenings and enjoy all the holiday spirit.

So what’s going on at The Deli Diva today?

First, I want to remind you that we are taking catering orders for the holidays. Whether you want pastrami briskets, lasagna, Italian style focaccia pizza, sandwich platters, salads, or more, we can do it for you!

Today SOUP OF THE DAY is: HAM & CHEESE. Yep! Think of a ham and cheese sandwich turned into a soup. It’s loaded with pieces of applewood smoked ham and loads of creamy cheddar cheese. It’s yumm-o-licious!

Stop by for a great lunch for just $4.99 with your choice of soup or salad, choice of half sandwich and choice of drink. With this many choices for under $5, I think the choice is clear about where to eat lunch! 🙂
