Wednesday 11/16 @ The Deli Diva

Well, we had quite a night last night. Had to run off to the City Commission meeting to defend our wonderful First Friday events. It seems one land owner in the area has a nasty “bug” up her rear wanting to stop the festivals.

Since these are the best thing that has happened to Largo in a long time, with tons of local residents coming out to enjoy themselves every month, this is something we must protect for the community.

Last night, this upset person went before the commissioners to ask that our events be shut down, but so many supporters of the event were there also to tell our side.

If you come out to the First Friday events and want to see them continue, take a moment today to answer this poll:

Ok, now let’s talk lunch! Soup of the Day is LENTIL!

I’m also baking the ever popular White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies.

We’ve got our fabulous pastrami and our yummy $4.99 lunch specials.

Stop by today, and please take the poll!

Well, it seems like this week you have been dealing with a pain in the foot AND a pain in the donkey which you can’t kick with a bad foot.

Yes, it’s been quite a week, but things are looking up. My foot is getting better every day and it seems our events are still on, so we did some good going to the city commission to defend our street festival.
