Monday 11/14 @ The Deli Diva

WOW! What a fabulous turn-out we had for our first ever Stone Crab and Seafood Festival on Saturday. The crowds were huge and boy, were they hungry!

We made 10 gallons of our New England Clam Chowder and close to 200 Shrimp & Lobster Quesadillas and we sold out in the first two hours! Other vendors were selling out too. Being the first seafood festival for Largo, we had no idea how a large a crowd to expect and most of us erred on the side of caution.

Can’t wait until next year and we’ll all be sure to cook LOTS more food!

Today, I’ve made a creamy Yellow Squash soup that is yum-o-licious for you here at The Deli Diva. We also have our wonderful sandwiches and our $4.99 lunch specials, so come on out for the best and freshest lunch in Largo!

(Update on the foot injury: I’ve got one of those big, clunky “boots” on now that really helps make it feel better and helps me to get around, so I’ll be back in the deli today trying it out. Hope to see all my friends there!)
