Wednesday 05/11 @ The Deli Diva

I’m going a little off-topic today but have something we’d like to share with our readers and customers. I’m sure many of you have heard that the City of St. Pete is considering making it illegal to give food to the homeless in their city.

At this tough economic time, there are more people out on the streets than ever before and many others are just a paycheck away from joining them!

We were asked to supply food to the homeless at the St. Pete City Hall this Saturday, May 14th . We’ll be there from 11:30 am till around 1 pm or whenever we run out of food.

If you want to show your support come on out! Here’s a link to the story about what St. Pete wants to do. http://www.baynews9.com/article/news/2011/april/236081/Ban-on-feeding-the-homeless-coming-to-St.-Pete
