Wednesday 3/30 @ The Deli Diva

PIEROGI soup today! You guys loved it the last time I made it so I did it again! If you don’t know what perogi are, I like to refer to them as a Polish ravioli. They are pasta puffs filled with mashed potatoes and cheese.

I saute them with a little bit of onion and then put them in the pot with some chicken stock, cream, roux and mild seasonings. It comes out as the most creamy delicious soup you ever ate! Come try it.

For those of you who like a hot lunch, remember that we have Hot Lunch Thursdays around here and tomorrow we will be serving Mama’s Meatball Subs! Check this site tomorrow for details.

Today enjoy our wide variety of cold or grilled sandwiches, salads, our yummy pierogi soup AND our decadent Butterfinger Cookies! I take a combination of my sugar cookie recipe and my peanut butter recipe and then break up Butterfinger candies into that and bake. WOW! Once you try them, you’re hooked!
