Oh What a Day and Night!

First off, thanks to all our great customers who came out to celebrate St. Patty’s Day with us yesterday. We served from opening at 11am until we ran out at about 5 pm. Yes, we usually close at three, but you kept on coming and we kept on serving until the last morsel was gone!

So after we closed and cleaned up, the Deli Dude and I were sitting out having a nice glass of wine to unwind and some of the neighbors stopped by. Well before you know it, we had a nice impromptu St. Pat’s party going, so it was a long. fun day for us and we hope you all had one too!

Today we’ll be serving the traditional day-after-St. Patrick’s Day Cabbage Soup. It’s said to be the hang-over cure for all the partying and it sure is tasty! For those of you who just don’t like cabbage, we’ve also got a yummy Roasted Red Sweet Pepper soup.

We’re back to our “normal” and have pastrami today. The only day of the year we don’t have our pastrami is on St. Pat’s when we replace it with corned beef. So today our pastrami is back!

We hope to see you for lunch. Come by and let’s celebrate TGIF!
