Are You Starting to Get Into the Holiday Spirit?

It seems the retailers must really be worried about this holiday season because they have started their Christmas decor and music in the stores even earlier than ever!

I remember when you wouldn’t even see a hint of Christmas in the stores until after Thanksgiving. Now it seems the day after Halloween they jump right into the Christmas decor, completely forgetting about Thanksgiving…why?…because unless they sell food, Thanksgiving doesn’t make them any money, so to them, it’s a “non-holiday”.

Not so here at The Deli Diva! We love Thanksgiving and all the wonderful foods that have become a traditional part of it! We love the excitement of the children, knowing it’s the start of the holiday season running up to the “big” one! We love the families all coming together, and we love how people seem to be in better moods this time of year.

Don’t forget that this Friday, November 19th is the cut off date for getting your Thanksgiving catering orders in. I can only take a limited number of orders, so if you want us to cater your day, let us know before Friday.

Our new grilled brie and apple and our grilled cheddar and bacon on homemade breads are a hit. If you haven’t tried one, you don’t know what you’re missing.

Today’s soup is a delicious creamy chicken. Of course we have our signature pastrami hot and delicious, waiting for you and all our other wonderful foods, so stop on by, say hello, and treat yourself to some of Largo’s best foods! 🙂

UPDATE: I was a whirlwind in the kitchen today, so I had time to whip up a sweet treat…my Cocoa-Cinnamon Snowball cookies. Not overly sweet, but just the right combination of cocoa, cinnamon and sugar…YUM!  3/$1
