Listen Up You Hungry Sleepy Heads!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 3rd, The Deli Diva will be serving up FREE Country Sausage Gravy and Biscuits from 5am to 7am in Ulmer Park on West Bay Drive in downtown Largo!

Yes, you heard it right…5am to 7am…because that’s when The CBS Morning Show shown locally on Channel 10, airs.  They’ll be taping their show live at Ulmer Park for their segment, “Why Do They Call it That?”.  So the City of Largo is hoping for a “block party” type atmosphere (at 5am??) and wants everyone who can, to stop by. The mayor and other “dignitaries” will be there but the main draw is…(drumroll)…The Deli Diva’s FREE FOOD! 😉 Ok, maybe I’m biased.

So, if you’re an early bird, or if you drive by Ulmer Park on your way to work, stop by and come see us tomorrow. We’ll be dishing up free sausage and biscuits with gravy for two hours, from 5am to 7 am, so don’t miss it.

They told us they would probably do a segment on us too, so if you get a chance to watch it, let us know! And don’t worry, if you can’t make it and we still have some left, we’ll be selling them at the deli for just $1.50, so you can still get yours.

Ok, that’s tomorrow, so now back to today. Another drumroll please…it’s The Deli Diva’s First Anniversary today, November 2, 2010! Exactly one year ago today we opened our doors and our wonderful customers started discovering us right away!

Thanks for all your continued support and we hope to celebrate many more anniversaries with you in the years to come!

Our new grilled sandwiches were a big hit yesterday on our homemade long bread. You’ve got to try one. They’re definitely big enough to share. Try the Brie cheese with sliced apples  or the Sharp Cheddar with (or without) bacon. Both are grilled to melty, toasty perfection for just $6.50.

There’s lot’s going on at The Deli Diva, so grab your friends and come on over for lunch!
