Happy First Day of Fall in Florida…The High is 92

Well, at least it’s Fall in theory. But here in Florida, we all know that our fall really doesn’t come until around November, and sometimes not even then. It’s nice to know though, that we’re getting into that time of year when the holidays start coming up fast, one right after each other…Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Years Day.

I’ve been here since I was 11 years old and I still miss the changing colors of the leaves up north, the chill in the air, waking up to a fresh snow that fell overnight. Although we have wonderful weather most of the year here, it’s sometimes nice to experience the changing of the seasons.

How many of you know what I mean? Are you a Florida transplant that still misses some of the great weather and scenery found up north, or have you filled your shoes with enough sand, you are a true Floridian, never wanting to go north again?

Which ever side you’re on, North or South, you will still love all the great foods we have at The Deli Diva, so come on over and have lunch with us out on our beautiful, shaded  patios under the tall oak trees.

Today’s the last day for our special of a chicken salad or roast beef and blue cheese sauce sandwich on a 4″ hoagie roll for just $3.75!!

Don’t forget that we will slice our meats for you to take home, so if you want a half pound of turkey, or a quarter pound of salami, just let us know. We’ll gladly slice and wrap it for you!
