I never considered myself much of a pastry chef or baker. I spend most of my time cooking savory, not baking sweets. But since opening The Deli Diva I’ve been experimenting alot with many different things and especially chocolate.
I think I just came up with something close to every chocoholics ultimate dream.
I started with my rich, thick New York style cheesecake with its sour cream topping. Then I did my usual drizzle with a little butterscotch and chocolate. I stepped back and said….that’s just not enough chocolate! Back to the melting pot I went and melted down lots more dark chocolate! Then I took all that newly tempered chocolate and slowly poured it over the cheesecake, over the sour cream topping, over the butterscotch and chocolate drizzles and I totally encased each piece of that cheesecake in a thick layer of dark chocolate!
I stepped back and took another look and decided everything was just too dark. So back to the melting pot, this time with white chocolate in it. I melted the white chocolate and drizzled it over the top and here’s what I’ve got for you today I call this DIVA’S DECADENT CHOCOLATE ENROBED CHEESECAKE. Treat yourself, or take it home and share it with your sweetie. Whatever you decide, this is one you don’t want to miss! Still just $3.95!
