Coney Island, Eating Contests, Nathans and The Deli Diva

It all started many years ago on Coney Island with the very first hot dog stand. They’re also credited with creating the first hot dog eating contest. The Nathans dogs are still the best and as good today as they were then! And now The Deli Diva has them!

We are now serving Nathans Hot Dogs. Just $2.00 for a hot dog or try one with our homemade chili or our cheddar cheese for just $2.50!  Have both chili and cheese for only $2.75! We’ve got your favorite condiments too including mustard, relish, sauerkraut, chopped onion and catsup.

Our soup of the day is another original I came up with and is it ever yummy! I thought about a turkey pot pie and used all the flavors and ingredients to come up with our Turkey Pot Pie Soup. It really does taste just like one! Come try a sample and see if you don’t agree!

The Deli Dude is delivering a big catering order today  from about 11:15 to 12:30 so I’ll be on my own at the deli. If you come during that time, please have patience since it may take just a bit longer for your orders to be filled.

Last but never least are the sweets for today. How about Carmel Oatmeal Bars with Chocolate Chips!   There’s a nice ooey, gooey caramel layer in between the oatmeal chocolate chip bars. The combination of everything is delicious! And the oatmeal makes it healthier so there’s less guilt in these bars! 🙂  $1.25.

Come on over, we’re making the tastiest, freshest foods around!
