Enjoy “Over the Hump” Day @ The Deli Diva!

Thanks to all of you who let me know things you’d like to see on the menu. Please feel free to comment any day on this blog to tell me what you’re craving! If enough people want something, we’ll add it to the menu!

Today we have a nice clear broth soup since so many of our customers seem to be eating a little lighter these days. It’s Escarole Soup. Escarole is an Italian lettuce that is not at all bitter. It has a very smooth, almost sweet flavor. You need to come try a sample if you’ve never had it and I think you’ll love it!  We also want to keep our creamy soup lovers happy so we also have our Cream of Turkey.

Our sandwich special today is our ever popular “Here’s the Beef”! We take our slow roasted beef, slice it super thin, pile it high on a roll and then slather it in our homemade blue cheese sauce! It’s definitely a winner! Special price today of $5.75.

Ok, you asked and we listened….CHOCOLATE COVERED COCONUT MACAROONS TODAY!! 2/$1

Come on over for a bite!

Hey, me too! 🙂 Seriously, I do the “diva’s” version of one but only as a special at this time as its not on the menu, but maybe it will someday. In the meantime, I will let you know when I have the “Italian’Cuban” sandwich special.
