Our sandwich special today is the most succulent, tender, delicious (if I say so myself) 🙂 PULLED PORK BBQ SANDWICH WITH COLESLAW. Yes, once in awhile I get a hankerin’ for some good ol’ southern vittles and this sandwich is one you really do not want to miss.
I took a beautiful pork butt (it’s actually the shoulder of the pig, but go figure how it got the “butt” name!). I slow roast it for 10 hours until the meat just falls off the bones. Then it’s time to get to work with two forks, pulling all the meat apart (that’s how it gets the “pulled” pork name). It soaks overnight in the delicious cooking juices. Then it’s heated up, put on a bun with bbq sauce and topped with coleslaw. It’s a true southern classic and I’ve got it for you today for just $6.75. COME ON OVER AND PUT A LITTLE SOUTH IN YOUR MOUTH!
Ok, if that’s too southern for you, how about something a little different? I’ve got PASTRAMI PATE AND SLICED ONION sandwiches today.
