It’s Groundhog Day!

WOW! I had no idea Punxsutawney Phil was so big!! I can never remember which way it is to have and early spring….if he sees his shadow? If he doesn’t see his shadow? Either way, we’ll know today. It’s an odd tradition, but certainly one of our most unique!

Today I’m making BROCCOLI CHEDDAR SOUP and a creamy POTATO LEEK SOUP. Both are $1.50 (8oz) $2.75 (16 oz) $4.25 (QT). Yesterday I whipped up a second batch of BEEF STROGANOFF SOUP since we had an early run on it, so I have more of it today as well as some TURKEY VEGETABLE. So if soup is your thing, we got ya covered!

Our SANDWICH SPECIALS TODAY are: TUNA MELT. We heap our yummy tuna salad on sourdough, put some Provolone cheese on top and grill it to perfection. YUM!  $4.00.

REUBENESQUE: We take our melt in your mouth homemade pastrami, hand cut it and pile it high on sourdough with some provolone, sauerkraut and Russian dressing and then grill it to perfection! $6.75

We’ve got some killer desserts today too: CHEESECAKE, BROWNIE BITES, BAKLAVA  and THREE LAYER PUMPKIN BREAD WITH CHOCOLATE FUDGE ICING.

Don’t forget to bring us a Valentine and get a sandwich for a dime! Let’s do lunch!
